While the rest of us were presumably doing something more productive with our Saturday afternoons, League One's finest will be battling it out across twelve fixtures that could well define the season's endgame. And frankly, it's about time things got interesting.

The Imps have built what looks suspiciously like a promotion-winning campaign, though in League One, such assumptions have a habit of biting you where it hurts most.

With names like AFC Wimbledon, Peterborough United, Barnsley, and Doncaster Rovers among the twenty-four clubs scrapping for points, pride, and positional improvement, this looks set to be one of those afternoons where the phrase 'typical League One' gets wheeled out more than a veteran striker's hamstring complaint.

Lincoln might have their noses in front, but Cardiff's proximity in the table suggests this title race has plenty of twists left in it.
