Marquis then scored in the 56th minute and added penalties in the 69th and 81st minutes, completing his treble. Linney's 83rd-minute reply reduced the margin for Carlisle but did not change the outcome.
Four of Woking's five goals came after half-time. The away win left Carlisle with a heavy defeat to absorb and made Marquis the central figure in one of the weekend's standout National League results.
